Of masks and stars

“Masks are like yellow stars.”
“Vaccines are like yellow stars.”

No.

Nazi Germany is a society based on conspiracy theories and eugenics.
Nazis believed that being a Jew was a disease threatening the purity and survival of their race.

They called it a cancer but they had no cure.

No cure, because Judaism is not a disease but an identity. You are a born Jewish, whether practicing Judaism or not. It’s not a disease you catch. It’s not a cancer. It’s not a virus.

So because the Nazis had no cure, they eventually invented one: murder.
Their answer to the century-old “Jewish Question” was that there was no cure. We had tried expulsion, exclusion, murder here and there but they were still here so they had to be killed for good.

In the meantime, they had to be labelled so the “sane” people knew who they were and they could be found easily because “they can look like us sometimes”, no “Jewish nose”. So they had to wear a star. Until there is a definite cure: the “Final Solution”.

Covid-19 is, however, a disease, a virus. Something that doesn’t discriminate.

We are so used to branding other people’s identity “a disease” that these words become meaningless when they are actually used properly.

Covid-19 is not an unsolvable identity but a virus that kills.

It’s not the states that kill, it’s the disease. The states are looking to stop the killing, not to encourage it. That’s what the masks are for. Until we had a cure to stop the killing, masks were the answer.

It’s the complete opposite of the stars used by the Nazis, that were made to brand people for eventual slaughter.

And now we do have a cure. And it’s not death, it’s life. A free cure. Widely available on demand, at least in our White countries. A free chance to survive.

Again, the complete opposite of the stars which were a promise to kill.

Jews could never choose to not wear that star when it’s your choice to get the vaccine. There was nothing Jews could ever do to avoid the yellow stars and death. Nothing. You wear it because you have to die, if you don’t wear it, you will die. It was never a matter of choice, of freedom, not at any point whatsoever. Their fate was sealed.

And you have the audacity to compare their fate with your having to wear a mask or get a vaccine?

With masks and vaccines, the state is offering you a chance to survive and live a normal life again. With stars and triangles , the Nazis lead the Jews and others to inescapable death.

The stars were used to sort people into who must be slaughtered and who is allowed to live. The mandatory masks and vaccines, in some places, are used to ensure everyone will survive.
